Karyn Cecchini, founder of Briton Goldens, hails from the beautiful Southern California region and has been breeding Golden Retrievers for more than 20 years. At Briton Goldens, we take pride in our AKC Champion bloodlines, nurturing dogs with impeccable temperaments, and maintaining clearances that extend back generations, all conveniently accessible on the OFA website.

Our current litter's dam boasts an "EXCELLENT OFA HIPS" rating, a testament to our commitment to breeding Golden Retrievers that embody the ideal structure and function of the breed. Notably, one of our puppies is a registered Therapy Dog, offering solace and support to first-line responders.

"As a dedicated breeder hobbyist and enthusiast, I take great pride in my passion for breeding Golden Retrievers, a breed that has captured my heart for as long as I can remember. I cherish the bond these incredible dogs form with the families they join, making every moment truly special.

My journey into breeding was a natural progression, having grown up with dogs throughout my life. The remarkable essence of Golden Retrievers and their capacity to bring boundless love to their new homes inspired me to channel my lifelong affinity into something more. The joy I find in witnessing these dogs bond and flourish with their families is immeasurable.

What sets my breeding program apart is not only my extensive experience but also my unwavering commitment to raising dogs with exceptional temperaments and correct structures. Since 1992, I've dedicated myself to producing dogs that excel in OFA testing, ensuring their physical well-being for years to come. Moreover, my goal is to place these wonderful dogs in responsible pet owner homes, where they can thrive and bring happiness to their human companions.

With two Grand Champion bitches and a third Champion since 2010, I've achieved a level of excellence in my breeding program that reflects my dedication to the breed and its future. OUR BREEDING STANDARDS
We take our role as dog breeders very seriously. That's why we adhere to the highest breeding standards, ensuring that our dogs are healthy, happy, and well-cared for. All of our dogs are genetically tested and have OFA clearances, and we only breed dogs that meet our strict standards for temperament and health. We are committed to producing dogs that are not only beautiful, but also have the best possible chance for a long, healthy life.
